Hi, I'm so happy you're here wanting to know more about little ol' me.
A photographer is such a cool thing to want to be as a kid and the irony of all this is that I actually never thought I'd be one. However, I did know I wanted to be one the day I shot my first wedding. I didn't gain any profit from this day, in fact, I probably lost money, but I did leave that day with more than what I walked in with. I left fully assured that getting the chance at serving people on the most important day of their life is what I want to do. I'm a server at heart and growing up as the oldest sibling in my home, I've always had to work for everything that I have. I'm a nurturer, a hand-holder, and hard to admit but very much true — a chronic people-pleaser. All of which have impacted my little growing business today in the best way & the greater cause is getting to do it all in the backgrounds and living to watch it all unfold in real life.

I have never known a love so deep, beautiful and yet painful until I got married and had kids. They pull every string of my heart and there is nothing I wouldn't do for them. My husband and I were so young when we got married, we were basically kids raising kids and while there has been a lot of trial and error as young parents, one thing we did do right is choose Jesus to be the center of this family. We don't need much to keep us happy. We love long table talks at the dinner table, we love snack trips, and if you're lucky, you'd see them tag along with me to one of your sessions, cause we love that too.
My husband and I both grew up in broken homes, so we never got to see what true love looks like, yet today we live to photograph love which is why photographing every story is so personal to us. Our favorite weekends are the one's spent celebrating other people all while soaking in every minute with each other before going back home to our kids. We love this life and we love that we get to do it together. I'm saying that just to say this — advocating for love is for my kids and then getting a second chance to be a witness to any love story is for my husband and I's childhood little hearts.
